This person will also recommend new programs and internal process improvement; lead sales projects and initiatives (e.g., obsolescence). The Inside Area Sales Specialist will also recommend, analyze, and propose complex pricing on new and existing products, including trade offers and equipment placement options by utilizing account history and situational/sales data to drive sales. One way they have found success is by, collaborating with Sales Management team to evaluate the status of approvals and budget availability to develop complex proposals for customers, including exceptions that deviate from established procedures. Lastly this person will generate cold calls to select customers for product lines (e.g., service contracts) and other incidental duties.What you will need (Required):

Bachelor's Degree in in related field, 3 years experience of previous medical and/or technical field experience

Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to learn complex products through independent learning

B2B Sales Experience

Experience in selling, promoting and/or presenting (in written and oral form) medical products Preferred

Good computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; JDE or equivalent experience preferred

Experience in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system; Salesforce.com preferred

Good written and verbal communication skills including negotiating and relationship management skills

Substantial knowledge and understanding of relevant medical products

Substantial knowledge and understanding of complex computer systems, review target accounts, customize offers, cultivate leads, order/sample product and document activities.

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

Strict attention to detail

Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and representing the organization on specific projects

Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships

Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
