As an Embedded Software Engineer at our Irvine site, you will help lead testing and documentation for our software applications. This role has the ability to grow into a full-scale developer within our New Product Development (NPD)team!Your teamOur R&D team is dedicated to quality. We provide opportunities for you to continue to learn through various training, conferences, certifications, and support for advanced degrees.What you'll be doing- Working with UX, Marketing & Clinical Stakeholders, define use cases and workflows
- Document, develop and test ISO 14385 compliant software and testing for medical devices
- Support rapid prototyping, troubleshooting and debugging of electro-pneumatic devices
- Ability to work mostly autonomously and work effectively across subject areas
- Embedded medical device software development and/or testing
- Embedded C/C, both bare-metal and RTOS environments
- C/C# application development
- Azure DevOps experience is a bonus
- 3 + years of work experience in a medical device company
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Learning agility and a passion to grow and develop
