Assistant Controller

Description We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Senior Accounting Manager for an immediate and time-bound role within our organization. The ideal candidate will be a experienced accountant with hands-on experience as an Accounting Manager and has an extensive background in Fiserv, Prologue, and Blackline systems. This contract position will run through the end of October and requires an immediate start date. Responsibilities: Oversee accounting operations for the company, including but not limited to Billing, A/R, A/P, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, and Inventory Accounting. Initiate and implement financial data management policies to enhance data quality and integrity. Actively collaborate and coordinate with the financial management and accounting staff. Coordinate both operational and administrative activities along with regulatory compliance in a precise and timely manner. Facilitate the coordination and activities of external auditors and conduct post-audit activities. Prepare and present financial reports, statements, and projections as required. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or MBA preferred. Minimum 5-7 years of demonstrated experience in corporate accounting with managerial responsibilities, specifically in the financial services sector. Adept and highly experienced with Fiserv, Prologue, and Blackline systems. Comprehensive understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven leadership acumen with a commitment to collaboration across teams.
