Regional Sales Associate
Outside Sales Representative needed to provide extraordinary customer service to assigned accounts with primary focus on providing in-person service to customers, developing new business, building and maintaining customer relationships and maintaining and increasing sales of a given account base.
Hybrid work environment; come in and meet with management when needed. Work at your own pace from the comfort of your own home, travel limited on a case by case basis.
1. Build new relationships
-Identify potential new accounts that are beneficial and profitable to the company.
-Regularly follow up with potential new accounts to establish relationships.
-Perform necessary administrative duties to establish new accounts, i.e. credit approval, complete proper forms and notify appropriate departments.
-Understands how the business works
-Able to utilize time, energy, and resources to manage priorities, stay on track, and achieve goals.
-Provides effective positive and constructive feedback to the team on how we can continue to grow the Amber Strings brand
-Track customer service responses and look for opportunities to improve
2.Customer Service and Communication:
-Answer questions in a timely manner and provide information to customers in response to inquiries regarding product, prices and delivery dates.
-Listen to, investigate and resolve customers’ concerns about products, price or service.
-Build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels, to help increase sales and interaction related to assigned accounts
-Maintain a working knowledge on the products the customers carry.
-Identify and pursue new sales opportunities and new products for customers’ consideration and suggestions on how to use them.
-Maintain awareness of market information and communicate customers’ complaints and information, and competitive conditions to supervisors.
-Provide outstanding customer service with an eye to increase company market share for our products and brands.

-Enter data into the computer and notify customers of product availability and cost.
Preferences:
-Intermediate knowledge of retail/music instrument industry operations
-Understanding of retail systems and processes
-Play a musical instrument; preferably guitar, cello, violin or viola
-Previous industry experience not necessary but appreciated
Compensation:
-Commission based position; 10% of all sales
-Travel expenses will be covered if needed
