Job Summary:
We are seeking a Part-time Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our cardiology group. The technologist will perform a full range of nuclear imaging procedures using our Spect camera under the direction of our providers. This position is based in one office location.
Responsibilities:
Shift Details: Tuesdays, 8am to 5pm
Capture quality nuclear medicine images for physician interpretation
Operate and maintain Spect cameras for detecting and mapping radioactive drugs in patients
Order, prepare, administer, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals
Establish protocols within the Nuclear Medicine Clinic
Adhere to radiation safety procedures and guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Certified Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), ARRT (N) Certification
Graduate of an approved nuclear medicine program
3-5 years of recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Practice Management Systems
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment in a professional manner
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Experience in outpatient cardiology and nuclear medicine settings
