Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, cooking, and medical documentation.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs.
Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in daily activities.
Administer medication under the direction of healthcare professionals.
Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
Assist with lifting, transferring, and positioning clients as needed.
Provide catheter care and tube feeding when required.
Offer specialized care for individuals with dementia.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in senior care or related field preferred.
Ability to cook nutritious meals and follow dietary guidelines.
Proficient in medical documentation and record keeping.
Comfortable working with people with developmental disabilities.
Knowledge of dementia care best practices.
Ability to take vital signs accurately.
Capable of lifting and transferring clients safely.
Familiarity with catheter care procedures.
Experience with tube feeding is a plus.
