Pro Structural Inc (PSI) is a well-established commercial masonry and concrete contracting company located in Lake Elsinore, California and is seeking a full-time Project Engineer that is ready to bring their unique talents and experience to our growing team. Qualified candidates must be self-motivated with excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong organization skills.
Position: Project Engineer
Job Description:
Prepare, submit and track product data submittals
Identify, draft and track RFI’s
Create shop drawings and process for approval
Detail plans and generate initial material orders
Assist field teams with supplemental material orders and delivery coordination
Issue Purchase Orders
Assist Project Managers by drafting/processing change orders
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to ensure their needs are being met
Responsible for document control of all active projects
Qualifications:
Detail oriented problem solver with a positive attitude
High level of organization
Ability to multitask and manage critical path workflow
3-5 years of experience in the construction industry with at least 2 years as a Project Engineer
Experience reading and interpreting plans/specifications
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam.
Experience with Procore and AutoCad is not required, but preferred.
Expertise with digital document processing; Possess the ability to access, download, upload, and organize digital documents via FTP sites.
Strong written and oral communication skills
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay will be commensurate with skills and experience level
