Description We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist for our client, a leading provider in mental health services. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in healthcare credentialing, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and be capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently.Responsibilities:

Responsible for all aspects of the credentialing, re-credentialing, and privileging processes for all medical providers who provide patient care.

Maintain up-to-date data for each provider in credentialing databases and online systems; ensure timely renewal of licenses and certifications.

Coordinate with providers and insurance companies to ensure the timely completion of credentialing applications.

Verify provider information including training, education, qualifications, and licensure.

Maintain strict confidentiality of all provider information according to applicable laws and policies.

Ensure timely processing and follow-up on applications and re-credentialing paperwork.

Work collaboratively with other departments and staff to identify and resolve issues with provider credentialing, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

High School diploma is mandatory; an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field would be advantageous.

Proven experience as a credentialing specialist in a healthcare setting.

Proficient understanding of credentialing processes and medical terminology.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with learning new software platforms.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Strong attention to detail and capability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to commute to Inglewood.
