-PART-TIME: Must be available Tuesdays and Fridays. Some flexibility in scheduling other days available depending on farm needs and applicant availability.
-Starting wage is $20/hr
-Position is seasonal, beginning mid-May and going through mid-December
-40 hours of paid sick leave after your first 30 days of employment
-Generous access to all veggies and flowers we grow on the farm
-Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
This position is responsible for loading and delivering produce to 10+ locations throughout the foothills weekly in our delivery van. Our delivery route goes through Placerville and up Hwy 49, through Auburn and into Nevada City for a total 60+ mile radius. As the delivery driver, you are responsible for double checking all orders for accuracy and being able to quickly and efficiently load and unload correct orders at the farm and their end destination. Qualified candidates will be responsible, conscientious, detail-oriented and skilled at organization. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs - you will be lifting a lot of heavy bins! You will be the face of FogDog Farm to our wholesale customers and must have a positive and friendly attitude. You should enjoy driving and be comfortable maneuvering a large cargo van in occasionally tight spaces. Hours may vary somewhat weekly depending on number of orders placed, but will likely fall between 15-20 hrs/week.
