Brad Young & Associates is a structural engineering firm headquartered in Clovis California. We have been providing structural engineering services to our clients all throughout North America since 2001. Our company is seeking a motivated individual to join our team of skilled professionals. There are two main roles to this position, bookkeeper and executive assistant. The bookkeeper duties include all required activities to accurately bill our clients each month. The executive assistant duties include assisting with the processing of weekly survey trip deliverables coming in from around the country, assisting in the planning of site survey trips for future site visits, and other miscellaneous tasks to assist the president of the company.

To be successful in this position, the candidate must be very organized, detailed oriented, and have good communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Bookkeeper Duties

Accounts Receivable - Process billing each month

Gather all required documents (i.e. approval emails, PO’s, contracts, etc.) from our clients for each job and organize them in the appropriate locations

Process survey billing each week

Process survey expenses each week

Submit invoices to our clients in all of their various systems monthly

Pursue overdue invoices

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Executive Assistant

Assist in the planning of survey trips each week

Assist in the organization of the travel plans for survey trips each week

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Requirements

Minimum AA degree or equivalent experience in accounting or business management. Project management experience is a plus.

Minimum of 3 years experience in accounts receivables using QuickBooks.

Professional business communication skills, including emailing, financial reporting and other department documentation.

Organized and detail oriented

Great customer service and interpersonal skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Experienced and very knowledgeable in Microsoft office products and Quickbooks

Teamwork and cooperation with others in the company

Be able to handle a fast-paced environment.
