Description
-Work with county contracts preparing cost settlements per requirements
-Manage/analyze federal, state, and local contracts ensuring proper records keeping and fiscal provisions met
-Compile, review and present reports, audits, settlements and other reports to CFO and Controller
-Maintain and review statistical records ensuring cost reporting is accurate
-Analyze and assess program revenue, expenditures, conformance, and fees ensuring accuracy and funding adherence
-Monthly GL review and analysis of A/R, fund accounts, closing procedures, financial statements, reports and other accounts and information as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related required
-2-4 years of hands-on accounting /financial experience and heavy reporting
-Strong knowledge of internal controls and GAAP
-Non-profit/fund accounting highly desired
-Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook required
-Strong communication/presentation skills and highly organized
-Strong knowledge of IT systems and Accounting Software, Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred
