Denham Resources has an excellent opportunity for a Budget Analyst specifically with non-profit or fund accounting experience. Our client works with the under served community ensuring that they get the services they need.
Description
-Lead and develop comprehensive budgets by collaborating with all team leaders ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities
-Ensure accuracy and completeness of budget submissions per funding requirements
-Regular analysis of financial performance, variance analysis, forecasting/re-forecasting based on trends, opportunities and risks and communicate finding to senior leadership
-Regular detailed reporting to Senior Management
-Grant Accounting, preparation of grant budgets, ensure accurate and proper tracking of each grant
-Active participations of annual audit process, address findings and make recommendations
-Implement best practices using GAAP and train and support staff
-Ad hoc projects as required
Requirements
-3-5 years of hands-on grant management/fund accounting budgeting and reporting,
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field required, master’s degree is a plus
-Financial modeling, forecasting and analysis
-Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook required
-Excellent cross departmental communication/presentation skills and highly organized
-Fast paced environment with ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
-Strong knowledge of Accounting Software(s), Microsoft Dynamic GP is a plus
