Description Our client is a rapidly growing SaaS company dedicated to delivering cutting-edge software solutions to clients worldwide. They are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist on a temp-to-hire basis to help support our expanding client base and ensure timely, accurate financial transactions.Responsibilities include
Invoice Management: Generate, review, and distribute invoices for SaaS subscriptions and other service-based billings; address any discrepancies or errors.
Collections & Customer Follow-Up: Monitor outstanding invoices; proactively follow up with clients via phone, email, or other communication channels to ensure prompt payment.
Payment Application: Accurately post and reconcile incoming payments (checks, ACH, credit cards) to customer accounts in the accounting system.
Account Reconciliation: Prepare weekly and monthly reconciliations of A/R aging reports; resolve payment discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams and external customers.
Credit & Risk Assessments: Assist with new customer credit checks and ongoing risk analysis; maintain up-to-date records and mitigate potential payment issues.
Month-End Close Support: Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure timely closing of financial records; assist with journal entries, reporting, and account analysis as needed.
Continuous Process Improvement: Identify and recommend enhancements to existing A/R processes and systems to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
Technical Skills:
Proficient in financial/accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar).
Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus.
Strong Excel skills, with the ability to use pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and basic formulas for data analysis.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to interact effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
High attention to detail and accuracy; proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with strong problem-solving capabilities and a customer-centric approach.
