Description Job Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to assist with a 2-day physical inventory project over the weekend (Saturday and Sunday). As a Physical Inventory Project Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of our inventory records.Responsibilities:
Conduct physical counts of inventory items in designated areas according to established procedures.
Accurately record inventory counts using handheld devices or manual tally sheets.
Collaborate with team members to ensure thorough coverage of inventory locations.
Identify and report discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies through reconciliation efforts.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the inventory process.
Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in inventory management or similar roles is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Availability to work on Saturday and Sunday for the duration of the project.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift objects during the inventory process.
