Description
Calculating Salaries: Accurately compute employee salaries based on hours worked, bonuses, commissions, and any other relevant factors.
Updating Payroll Systems: Maintain up-to-date employee information in payroll systems, including new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and deductions.
Preparing Tax Reports: Compile and generate internal and external tax reports, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Conducting Internal Audits: Perform regular internal audits of payroll data to verify accuracy, identify discrepancies, and mitigate risks of errors or fraud.
Providing Leave and Vacation Reports: Generate and distribute reports on sick leave and vacation usage to management and HR departments for planning and tracking purposes.
Reconciling Dental Billings: Reconcile dental billings with employee contributions and related liability accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Providing Department Billings Breakdown: Prepare and distribute payroll breakdowns for monthly department billings, facilitating transparent and accountable financial reporting.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
Previous experience in payroll processing or accounting role preferred.
Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
