Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our accounting department as an Accounting Clerk. In this role, you will provide essential support to our accounting team by ensuring accurate and efficient handling of financial transactions and documentation.Responsibilities:
Type accurately, prepare, and maintain accounting documents and records.
Prepare bank deposits, process general ledger postings, and reconcile statements.
Conduct timely reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy.
Enter key financial transaction data into the database on a daily basis.
Provide assistance and support to company personnel regarding accounting matters.
Research, track, and resolve accounting or documentation discrepancies promptly.
Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas as needed.
Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws.
Continuously update job knowledge to stay current with accounting practices and regulations.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Proficiency in using accounting software and databases.
