Approved Freight Forwarders has immediate openings for a qualified Operations coordinator with 2 – 3 years’ experience in warehouse administrative processes. Rate of pay is $19.50 per/hr. Schedule Monday - Friday 8am-5pm with possible overtime.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform administrative tasks, data entry, scheduling appointments, coordinating pickups.
Help the organization run smoothly and ensuring that deadlines, plans for events or anything related gets accomplished on time with no issues.
Ensuring that all activities conform to local, federal, industry and company standards
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES:
Warehouse, 3PL, Distribution, and Logistics experience required
Processing of hazardous freight declarations/documentation
Shipping and receiving of hazardous experience preferred
Billing and accruing
Import and export container processing
WMS experience required
Heavy email communication via Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft office proficiency required
Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving skills
Effective communication, including speaking, writing, and active listening
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of warehouse admin experience in a 3PL distribution or logistics environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Sit or stand for extended periods of time
