Lead and manage the Field Service team to ensure flawless execution of service operations and customer satisfaction.
Build, lead and sustain a strong, motivated team of Field Service engineers and Supervisors, who are assigned to support different service areas and product lines.
Create and implement strategies to drive growth and take advantage of opportunities for increased profitability in the market.
Analyze complex problems and formulate clear strategies and solutions to drive business success.
Cultivate and promote Thermo Fisher Scientific's 4i values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.
Travel up to 30% to engage with customers and provide leadership support.
How will you get here?Education
Bachelor or advanced degree in business, marketing, mathematics or sciences.
Requires 7+ years of experience; for employees with at least 2+ years in a Management role.
Experience
Proven experience in management and leadership roles in a fast-paced service environment.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong business intuition and the ability to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
Demonstrated ability in an applied Industry, including a background in service operations, marketing, sales, and business development.
Demonstrated success managing a P&L, and leading businesses to profitable growth and market share penetration.
Ability to identify customers’ needs and provide solutions exceeding expectations.
Experience and proven ability to work efficiently in an international environment.
Experience working in a multinational company with demonstrated ability to lead effectively and achieve results in a matrixed operating environment.
Ability to analyze and assimilate complicated problems to determine effective strategies.
