Description We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team for an exciting opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a college degree and prior experience in accounts payable, along with proficiency in NetSuite software.Responsibilities:
Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.
Perform invoice and general ledger data entry.
Handle vendor correspondence via phone or email.
Assist with monthly status reports, and monthly closings.
Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies.
Prepare analysis of vendor accounts, as requested.
Ensure checks are issued in a timely manner.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist.
Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software is required.
Strong problem-solving skills and basic accounting principles knowledge.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
