KIPP Delta Public Schools seeks a passionate and skilled Computer Technology Teacher to inspire and prepare students with 21st-century digital literacy, problem-solving, and technical skills. The ideal candidate will provide engaging instruction that aligns with Arkansas state standards and integrates project-based learning to ensure students are equipped for college, careers, and future innovation. This position is key to promoting digital citizenship, technology fluency, and equitable access to STEM pathways.Your responsibilities as a Lead TeacherKIPP Delta teachers are at the core of our mission to help students develop the knowledge, skills, and character strengths needed to succeed throughout their education and in the competitive world beyondIf you firmly believe that all students can learn, if you have a proven willingness to do whatever it takes to disrupt the opportunity gap, if you thrive in an environment that is both collaborative and entrepreneurial, and if you are eager to work alongside passionate educators committed to creating an equitable and inclusive school environment, then you are a KIPP Delta teacher.Key Responsibilities:Instruction & Curriculum DeliveryDeliver daily technology instruction based on Arkansas K–12 Computer Science Standards and KIPP Delta’s academic vision.Design and implement lesson plans that include computer literacy, coding, computational thinking, digital safety, and basic hardware/software knowledge.Use project-based learning and real-world applications to engage students in relevant and rigorous work.Classroom EnvironmentBuild a structured, inclusive, and positive learning environment with high expectations for all students.Incorporate culturally relevant materials and equitable technology practices.Manage classroom behavior using schoolwide systems rooted in restorative and positive behavioral supports.Assessment & Data UseAssess student progress through formative and summative measures, including technology-based assessments.Use data to differentiate instruction and inform individualized learning plans.Maintain accurate student records, grades, and documentation in accordance with KIPP Delta and Arkansas DESE policies.Technology Leadership & IntegrationServe as a resource to colleagues on technology integration in all subject areas.Collaborate with other educators to design interdisciplinary units involving coding, digital design, or productivity tools.Model best practices in digital citizenship and online safety for students and staff.Professional Development & GrowthParticipate in ongoing professional learning aligned with Arkansas Computer Science initiatives and KIPP’s instructional priorities.Attend KIPP Delta and state-mandated training including RISE training, blended learning workshops, or coding certification as required.As a KIPP Delta Teacher, your core responsibilities include:

Curriculum Development and InstructionAdapt and execute a rigorous, standards-aligned curriculumDevelop academically rigorous lessons, unit plans, rubrics and assessmentsUse data to inform instructional decisionsProvide students with daily feedback on performance and plan for individual learning needsHelp Build a Positive School and Classroom CultureEmbody and maintain school’s values, policies and cultureDevelop positive relationships with students, families, teachers and staffEstablish and maintain strong communication with all parents and share progressShow up for critical school events, including staff meetings, open houses, parent teacher conferences and moreDemonstrate a Growth MindsetPursue challenging professional goals each yearGive and receive positive and constructive feedback with your colleaguesParticipate in school-wide and individual professional developmentOther responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Supporting student recruitment, enrollment, and retention activities as neededWrite letters of recommendation for students as needed
