The Substitute Teacher is responsible for delivering instruction, managing the classroom environment, and promoting student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Instruction and DeliveryImplement lesson plans that the absent teacher provides or create appropriate instructional plans when necessary.Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students in learning activities.Classroom Management and SupervisionMaintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.Implement effective classroom management techniques to promote student engagement and discipline.Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, lunch, and recess as assigned.Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.Communication and Professional ConductCommunicate effectively with students, staff, and administrators.Provide feedback to the regular classroom teacher regarding student performance and behavior.Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions with students, staff, and parents.Maintain confidentiality of student information per school policies and legal requirements.Other Responsibilities (As Needed)
