Looking to hire soon. This is a full-time (34+ hours per week) Veterinary Assistant/Technician position. Starting pay is $15.00/hour (or DOE working directly employed in the veterinary field, after 90-day probation period). We will also be training this employee in some Receptionist duties to be able to help provide additional, full team support, as needed. Full-time candidate must be available for up to full time work. Looking for a very friendly, outgoing, organized person that loves animals, can easily multitask, handle stress in our fun and fast-paced environment very well, prioritize tasks correctly, is very reliable, good attendance capability/demonstration, has a great work ethic as an individual, and is also a team player.
You must be able to work all various weekday hours between 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM (except Tuesdays and Sundays we are closed) and Saturday mornings, as well as be able to cover other team member shifts as occasionally needed and possibly on short notice. The ideal candidate should also have own transportation or be able to regularly get to work on time and possibly on short notice. Veterinary Assistant/Technician experience/skills preferred and knowledge of Cornerstone software is also a plus, but we will train the right applicant. You must be able to regularly stand/bend/stoop and lift up to 50 lbs. onto a table on your own with no issues.
