You will develop key technologies in the EO/IR domain to help engineers grasp the most complex aspects of energy transport, enabling the design and test of tomorrow’s artificial intelligence algorithms and hardware solutions. You will champion novel solutions for advanced modeling techniques.

You will develop new C models in an extensible and maintainable fashion.

You will deploy EO or RF phenomenology and advanced physics concepts in a software implementation.

You will enable our customer’s success through adoption and utilization of modeling solutions.

You will work efficiently inside an established software product, across programming languages, and build environments.

You will research and develop novel EO or RF modeling solutions.

You will coordinate with multiple development teams to prioritize and solve complex software and physics problems.

You will mentor and share EO or RF expertise with your team.

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and eight (8) years or more of documented work and/or academic experience in the following areas:

Experience programming in C, C, or other high order language

Experience applying object-oriented software design

Experience using MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data sets

Experience with UNIX/Linux or Apple OS or Windows DOS command line

Experience in electro-optics or in radar processing

Experience with Imaging EO/IR/RF systems, energy transport, or radar physics, signal processing or discrimination algorithms

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related STEM degree

Experience with OpenGL, CUDA, or other GPU accelerated languages/architectures

Experience with Real-time Programming

Experience with AI/ML and training techniques

Experience with other Scene Generation / Sensor Modeling technologies

Experience with software change management tools and processes

Experience using and augmenting Build Systems (Make/CMake)

Experience working with large production software environment

Experience with and ability to interface with adjacent engineering disciplines (Signal Processing, Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering)

Electronic warfare modeling

Course work or experience in signal & image processing, digital communications, or estimation theory

Experience developing signal processing algorithms for missile applications

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
