RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is hiring an Analog Design Engineer in Tucson, Arizona (AZ). This position is responsible for new product design in discrete hybrid and surface mount technologies.

Responsibilities include: Transistor level design of high voltage, high-power op-amps, motor drives using discrete semiconductor, passive components in hybrid, and SMT assembly technologies Specification and selection of discrete semiconductors, passive components, and IC (Integrated Circuits) components for use in the analog and mixed-signal designs Hybrid and SMT circuit layout supervision Analog Design Engineer works on bread boarding/prototyping Conduct design verification and validation Collaborate with marketing, test, product, applications engineers to develop high-performance analog, and mixed-signal products from the initial concept phase throughout the product release process Participate in product definition and design specification. Analog Design Engineer will create the necessary design and product documentation and participate in design reviews Manage design projects and small project teams as needed

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's degree preferred 10+ years of relevant industry experience (electronics) with a background in analog/mixed-signal design Proficiency in computer aided design tools including simulation, post processing, and schematic capture Proven competence in operational amplifier design Power circuits design and development Experience with hybrid microcircuit or multichip module technologies Design team lead experience including coordination of cross-functional product development resources Schedule planning and tracking using software tools such as Microsoft Project Hybrid and board-level circuit layout experience Lab characterization and debug skills
