OBJECTIVE: Busy Construction Company is seeking an organized problem-solver to join our team as our Construction Bookkeeper. Ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of experience with full-charge bookkeeping in the construction industry. Ensure Budgets, Timelines, and Job Costs are accurate and oversee all financial transactions for the Company, including A/P, A/R, Payroll, and Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation(s).
GOAL: Bookkeeper’s Goal should be timely and proficient execution of requirements.
RESPONSBILITIES: Some of the Bookkeeper’s Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Record day to day financial transactions and complete posting process
Verify that transactions are recorded correctly in QuickBooks and OneDrive (One Drive hosts all Job Related Costs
Enter data, maintain records and financial statements.
Process Accounts Receivable and Payable(s) in a timely manner.
RESPONSBILITIES:
Proven bookkeeping experience
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
Proficiency in English and in MS Office
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Must have QuickBooks Knowledge
