In this role, you will make an impact on your community, and the lives of others, by leading a team in the manufacturing of cutting-edge medical devices.A day in the lifeAs a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor, you are responsible for the overall performance of the manufacturing department including shift management, direction and coordination of production personnel, processes and schedule. You will maintain a safe, compliant, effective and efficient operation while ensuring quality and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Responsibilities include:

Hire, train and develop production personnel as well as motivate and drive accountability

Develop and implement activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.

Prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.

Promote an environment of employee empowerment, teamwork, and continuous improvement through lean principles, compliance, quality, personal growth and development.

Use problem solving methods (DMAIC) to continuously improve quality, safety and efficiency of current cells and to implement Cell Operating Systems

Provide coaching to Group Lead, Cell Leads and Cell Operating System (COS) Team Leads on Standard Work, Lean Concepts, and Problem-Solving

Lead Tier Meetings to facilitate communication and problem solving between support team members.

Participate in capacity planning by scheduling production cells, ensuring adequate staffing, verifying adequate material supply and adjusting Kanban levels

Develop relationships and collaborate with other functions across the Enterprise (e.g. Engineering, Human Resources, Maintenance, Facilities, etc.)

Must Have: Required Qualifications

A High School Diploma AND a minimum 3 years of leadership experience

Nice to Have: Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment

Previous medical device manufacturing experience

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to motivate and influence a Team

Planning/Project Management skills

Experience in Lean Manufacturing (Continuous Improvement, Problem Solving, A3, DMAIC)

Conflict Management and Interpersonal skills
