If these words resonate with you, we should talk.Job OverviewPosition Schedule: Full-TimeTeam OverviewThe External Reporting/Accounting Policy team provides regulators and the Partnership with high-quality reporting, accounting and technical expertise for compliance and provides guidance to assist business partners in making informed business decisions. The External Reporting Senior Accountant II assists with the accurate and timely preparation of the firm's SEC filings and other external financial statements and developing and maintaining the firm's accounting policies in accordance with US GAAP. Key functions also include assisting with accounting consultations and managing the external auditor relationship.What You'll Do

Assist in the preparation of financial information and analysis for the SEC reporting process and other external financial statements

Help maintain the firm's accounting policy manual in accordance with US GAAP and assist with documenting the firm's accounting policies for new standards

Assist leader with basic consultations on accounting topics and contract review

Continuous evaluation of processes for improvement

Intermediate ability to understand financial results and use business acumen to inform reporting

Intermediate ability to understand technical SEC reporting and accounting standards and apply to the business

Assist with managing the external auditor relationship

Participate in cross functional teams responsible for implementing finance business objectives

Collaborate across Finance and other areas of the firm to help ensure reporting deadlines are met

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:Hiring Minimum: $70659Hiring Maximum: $116516Skills/RequirementsWhat Experience You'll Need

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Master's Degree preferred

3-5 years, preferably with Big 4 public accounting experience

CPA required

Intermediate knowledge of GAAP, SEC Reporting and internal controls (SOX)

Intermediate verbal and written communication skills

Investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in teams and independently

Excellent organizational skills

Effective time management

Attentive to detail
