Description Key parts of the role include preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, creating budgets and forecasts, preparing audits, and managing internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary

Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests

Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes

Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external

Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations

Engage in various department-wide initiatives

Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. Requirements - Engages effectively in self-directed time management and prioritization of workload

Command of project accounting

Solid understanding of AIA Documents

Deltek experience preferred

Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

Experience in SOX control execution/documentation

Sound written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment

Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision

Knowledgeable of ERP systems

High attention to detail

Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines

Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

Exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills

2+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued
