Job Description:
(Not meant to be all inclusive)
Perform/complete a variety of complex concrete cutting and core drilling projects as requested in residential and commercial properties.
Adhere to OSHA and strictly follow safety guidelines and job site requirements (i.e.: Safety glasses, hard hats, gloves, vests etc.).
Operate flat saws, core drills, wall saws, hand saws, demo equipment and other small equipment.
Commute in company service truck to several different work sites daily.
Load and unload equipment.
Follow start-of day, and end-of day checklist, along with weekly task items required to maintain truck, and equipment.
Ensure all tools are operable and ready to use, reporting issues when a problem is identified.
Walk job site prior to cutting/coring to assess layout and tools needed. Communicating with leadership when faced with a work stoppage.
Prep job site for cutting/coring and clean-up site after job completion.
Strictly follow safety guidelines and job site requirements (i.e.: Safety glasses, hard hats, gloves, vests etc).
Manage workflow and balance competing demands to complete job.
Think outside the box to complete “one off” or difficult situations.
Accurately document all tasks/work completed on invoice to allow proper billing.
Work in adverse work/weather conditions. Must be able to lift 60lbs and stand most of the day.
Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in concrete and asphalt cutting techniques and demolition.
This experience includes proficient use of:
Core drill
Slab saw
Wall saw
Flush cutting
Hand saw
Jack hammer
Experience safely operating service truck, and truck/trailer combos.
Mechanically inclined
