Try this on for size: We are looking for a manager in charge of our mobile truck to start ASAP as we are growing! This is a full-time position. Women are encouraged to apply. We have two women team members who are very successful with our independently-owned and family-operated company.
The manager will promote our Red Wing Shoe Stores and Mobile Shoe Truck by providing world-class full-service, high quality, large selection and great customer service while striving the utmost to make a loyal customer featuring our best-in-class safety footwear.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promote the high quality Red Wing brand image through professional selling.
Measure and fit every customer properly.
Explain product features and benefits, as well as technical specs.
Business development and marketing.
Suggest appropriate accessories with every footwear purchase.
Enter customer information and sales into POS, process payments, balance cash drawer.
Take great pride and responsibility for overall store, truck and personal appearance.
Know the strengths and weaknesses of competitors' products.
Enthusiasm to provide the highest level of customer service.
Motivation to reach and exceed individual and team sales goals.
Understand the need to cold call potential customers to grow client base
Perform on-site cold call visits to develop qualified leads.
Possess the passion to be an expert in our industry
Hands-on knowledge of principles/methods for demonstrating, promoting and selling products.
Knowledge of marketing strategies, referral, lead generation, sales techniques, cold calling B2B.
Enjoy meeting, serving and interacting with our customers.
ADDITIONAL ATTRIBUTES:
2+ Years Customer Service Experience
2+ Years Retail Sales Experience
Visual Display and Merchandising
Inventory management

Quick learner
Positive attitude
Bilingual preferred, English and Spanish
Comfortable driving 35-foot box truck
Able to get DOT medical card (we will help)
Valid driver's license and clean driving record

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Lifting up to 50 pounds, bending while lacing shoes, climbing ladders.
Housekeeping duties including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping floors,
setting up and maintaining visual displays, and maintaining truck.
