Monday through Friday 0730-1530. Major holidays off. If you want a security position with banker's hours, this is it. This job is not without it's challenges though. This is security at a facility that services those who have behavioral and emotional challenges. This is a very active post and you will need to be very good at dealing with people in a heightened emotional state. Your ability to deescalate a situation is going to be the most valuable asset at this particular post.
You must:
Have a guard card
Have reliable transportation
Be able to stand and walk for long periods of time (this is a standing/walking post, with short breaks allowed for sitting)
Have excellent communication skills.
Preferred qualifications:
Previous experience in hospital or prison setting
10+ years experience as a guard
