We're looking to add a dedicated Project Coordinator to our team to help manage and streamline our diverse projects.
Position Overview:
As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of projects. You will work closely with project managers and subcontractors to coordinate all aspects of commercial millwork projects, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management Support: Assist the Project Manager in organizing and overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle. This includes sending new project notifications, signing contracts, submitting certificates of insurance, pre-liening jobs and collecting and distributing physical project samples.
Maintain Bid List: Using tools such as Building Connected, Blue Book and Procore to maintain and update our internal Bid List, ensuring accurate and timely bidding information is always available to Project Managers.
Client Liaison: Serve as a point of contact for customers, assist in addressing any project-related questions, comments, or concerns.
Document Control: Maintain project documentation, including contract drawings, contract specifications, contracts, and change orders, ensuring all files are up to date.
Project Closeout: Complete and distribute all closeout documentation for each project upon completion, including O&M Manuals, Warranty Letters and Retention Waivers.
Problem Solving: Proactively identify potential issues and help resolve them to avoid project delays or cost overruns.
Key Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in a project coordination or similar role, preferably within the construction or millwork industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel, & Word.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of commercial millwork processes, materials, and construction methods is a plus.
