Receptionist Job Description
As a Receptionist, you are the first point of contact for our company. We are looking for an energetic, friendly multi-tasker to answer phone calls, screen and forward incoming phone calls with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. Our Front Desk Receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guest and greet people who visit the business. You will distribute correspondence and redirecting phone calls. To be successful as a Front Desk Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality via phone, mail, and e-mail as this is also a customer service role. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position.
Receptionist Responsibilities:
Using a multi-line telephone, answer, and appropriately route all incoming calls to various departments with courtesy, speed, and accuracy.
Receiving and returning phone call, emails.
Greet Homeowners in a professional manner.
Filing, scanning, and copying.
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable.
Be willing to assist mangers with several tasks.
Provide basic and accurate information.
Maintain polite and professional communication always.
Receptionist Requirements:
Prior experience with answering multi line phones.
Attention to detail. Familiarize procedures in order to handle all aspects of customer complaints or disputes.
Hands-on experience with Office equipment (e.g. printers, postage machine, computer)
Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Publisher, and Outlook (Willing to train the right person).
Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
