Ryatt Construction AZ, LLC is looking for a Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant. This position will handle the basic bookkeeping functions of a demolition, grading, and utility construction company as well as support the General Manager with administrative tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping/Office Support
● Accounts Payable - record vendor bills, code to project, obtain approvals, and process payments
● Accounts Receivable - prepare customer invoices weekly, obtain approvals, email invoices to customers, record cash receipts, and make collection calls as needed
● Payroll - process weekly payroll for approximately 20 employees, record payroll journal entry
● AZ State sales and TPT reporting
● Reconcile balance sheet accounts to subsidiary ledgers and/or supporting documents
● General Ledger maintenance, as needed
● Mobile time and equipment tracking system - manage time and equipment tracking by job, run reports that are used to process payroll
● Bank reconciliations
● Process weekly 401K payment
● Assist employees with medical plan and 401K enrollment
● Order office supplies as needed
Field Support
● Ensure stock materials and safety equipment are available
● Maintain maintenance tracking records for equipment and trucks
● Assist with updating and creating content for social media
● Create job folders
● Call in blue stake/locates for projects
● Obtain permits for projects
● Request inspections
● Other support duties as assigned by GM
Skills and Qualifications Required
● Previous bookkeeping experience, preferably full-charge bookkeeping
● QuickBooks Desktop experience
● Microsoft Office programs
● Gmail and Google Drive
● Data entry
