Mid-sized misc. steel fabrication shop is currently interviewing for a working shop manager. 10+ years steel fabrication, management preferred. Responsibilities include: set ups for production runs, problem solving, overseeing shipping/receiving and quality control. This position reports directly to the owner. If you have years of shop fabrication knowledge and experience and are looking to transition into the office (project management and estimating) this is a perfect opportunity as this job promotes to PM. Bilingual is a plus.
Also, candidates with experience in AutoCAD, Fusion 360, and Bend Tech software will see a better pay structure.
We have multiple, large jobs ongoing and a growing backlog.
6am - 2:30pm M-F with overtime
