AquaCrossings is a pioneering pet aftercare facility in Tempe, AZ, offering a compassionate and eco-friendly alternative to traditional pet cremation through aquamation. We are dedicated to providing respectful, dignified services to families during their time of loss, while also making a positive impact on the environment.

As the Operations Manager at AquaCrossings, you will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of our aquamation facility. Your primary focus will be ensuring that all aspects of the facility run smoothly and efficiently, maintaining a respectful and professional environment, and upholding our high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the aquamation facility, ensuring all processes are conducted with the utmost respect and care.

Manage a team of operations staff, providing leadership, training, and support.

Ensure the facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Coordinate with the operations team to manage aquamation schedules and ensure timely processing.

Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.

Handle inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing equipment maintenance.

Liaise with veterinary partners and pet families, providing excellent customer service and support.

Address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise within the facility.

Report to ownership with updates, issues, and suggestions for improvements.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a managerial role.

Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Compassionate and professional demeanor, with a genuine desire to support grieving families.

Basic technical proficiency and ability to oversee equipment maintenance.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
