Job duties will include preparing parts by cleaning and masking /coating. The Masker position performs simple to complex masking/coating of required part features with appropriate materials (such as tapes, paint, and plugs) to protect the desired areas from future processes.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to mask parts accurately and efficiently in accordance with Masking and/or Work Instructions or verbal instructions prior to processes.
· Inspect parts prior to and after masking operation to ensure integrity of incoming parts (damage, scratches, etc.) while notifying managing personnel about any issues with parts.
You will record masking details on the job ticket and any necessary information on the work order as required.
You will always work safely and comply with all safety regulations while working with hazardous materials and chemicals.
You will maintain equipment and the work area in a clean and organized manner.
Familiar and able to work with precision cutting tools such as X-acto style blades/hobby blades.
Demasking and cleaning parts as required after coatings or processes have been performed.
Ability to identify process improvements that will allow for better or faster techniques while maintaining or improving the quality of the job.

8 hour shift
Daily schedule of 6am and 2:30pm
Daily schedule of 7am and 3:30pm.
Monday to Friday
Overtime based on business needs.
