KindCare provides home health aides HHA’s and CNA's that serve an active group of clients in the North Valley.
You will be tasked with helping existing clients with personal hygiene, minor medical needs, housekeeping, and other daily needs as required by the patient.
To excel in this role you should have an interest in health care and the ability to work with limited supervision keeping the patient's needs as your top priority.
Care is 1:1
Shifts: 12 and 24 Hrs shifts. (7AM-7PM & 7PM-7AM)
We strive to support our clients fully by creating a perfect domestic home environment thru end-of-life IN-HOME SUPPORT care. Caretaker must be spiritually aware to support our clients needs.
Must be willing to provide following services, but not limited to:
bathing, meal prep, hand feeding (all meals are served at table) continence care, demonstrate successful medication administration, home keeping, cooking and cleaning, house plants, animal care. This is private home care.
Must be able to operate; Hoyer Lift, wheelchair, ability to work firestick and set/disarm alarm systems, excel ,veri-check log in.
Physical ability; lifting and transferring clients from bed to camode and to chairs from wheel chairs. Daily walks around block pushing wheelchairs, including home animal attendance (.5miles)
Experience with; Alzheimer's, Dementia, Parkinson, Cancer, End of Life Support.
Home Health Aide Responsibilities:
Helping patients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other daily tasks.
Performing basic health care services for patients, including checking vital signs or administering prescription medication.
Helping with general light housekeeping.
Making transportation arrangements as needed.
Working with a nurse, personal care aide, CNA, nurse aide, nursing assistant, and other caregivers and in-home care professionals.
Observing and reporting on patient's condition.
Keeping up with in-service training.
Home Health Aide Requirements:
High school diploma.
Reliable transportation.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Must be able to provide references.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Have good personal hygiene.
Able to do light housekeeping.
