I am looking for a FEMALE CNA for a private in home care position working with a 45 y/o male C1/C2 level quadriplegic. This shift is needing to be filled from 3:30-7:30pm weekdays (Monday-Friday).
-Looking for people between the age of 28-40.
- $500 starting bonus
-Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: dressing, bathing, trach care, wound care, personal hygiene, driving wheelchair vehicle, transferring to/from wheelchair, light cooking, light housekeeping, running errands, going to basketball practice, willing to travel with family if needed, and various other activities and outdoor activities and most importantly "being my hands".
-Manual transfer of approximately 100 lbs is a requirement as there are no assistive lifting devices used.
-Non smoker and non drinker is required.
-Must be in very good physical condition (not overweight), strong back and lifting ability and clean cut (minimal visible tattoos, no gauges).
-Must have reliable transportation.
-Must have current and proof of nursing license or certification.
-Background check will be performed.
-Attributes should include: hands on, flexible, reliable, hard worker, compassionate, STRONG, athletic, 5'5" or taller, HONEST, trustworthy, positive and cheerful, hardworking (did I mention that already?), punctual (personal pet peeve), clean cut (minimal visible tattoos and piercings), articulate, problem solver, non excuse maker, people person, outgoing, talkative, and common sense is also a must.
-This is a family environment with high standards and values.
-Starting pay is $28/hr.
-hours are Monday - Friday 3:30PM-7:30PM.
