Bongiorno Bagels is a family-run establishment that was founded in 2017 by New York natives, John Bongiorno and his father-in-law, Ed Cancro. John's background as a graduate chef from the Culinary Institute of America, and Ed's experience cooking in firehouses in New York City as an FDNY Lieutenant, it was clear that, in addition to sharing a love for John's wife/Ed's daughter, Samantha, they both shared a passion for great food. Bringing back suitcases of bagels every time they visited New York became exhausting, so John and Ed got down to business, literally, and decided to bring the authentic New York bagel and New York-style deli to Gilbert, Arizona.
Bongiorno Bagels in Gilbert, AZ is looking for one opening deli clerk to join our\ strong team. We are located on 3107 S Gilbert Road #101. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and reliable.Responsibilities Opener is responsible to be present at work at 5am to open the store. Set up products including cream cheese, deli meats, desserts, bagels, etc. Ability to be a natural leader with focus on leadership. Maintain composure in stressful situations.
