Job Title: Compensation AnalystJob DescriptionWe are looking for a Compensation Analyst to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The Compensation Analyst will provide professional and technical expertise in the design and support of compensation projects and programs, ensuring compliance with all audit and regulatory requirements. This role involves driving compensation projects, managing assigned areas, and performing design and analysis to achieve project goals and timelines. The Compensation Analyst will mentor junior team members and ensure the seamless transfer of design to the compensation delivery department.Responsibilities
Monitor program design compliance, cost, and performance.
Research and analyze emerging trends, best practices, and designs, and generate insights to recommend program changes.
Advise the compensation compliance and delivery team on programs, policies, and guidelines.
Act as the day-to-day contact on compensation design matters liaising with key stakeholders including IT, Finance & Payroll, Mobility, Overseas Compensation, external vendors, other entities, and headquarters.
Set up complex spreadsheets and perform compensation and data analytics.
Collect stakeholder feedback to develop and recommend solutions for unique business challenges.
Create data models inclusive of alternative design options and cost impacts.
Conduct extensive qualitative and quantitative analysis on overall pay structure and programs.
Support key initiatives in alignment with fab growth, including project work for expats, rewards and recognition, localization, and special short-term programs.
Partner in knowledge transfer with compensation delivery to implement compensation design and strategies.
Develop and maintain complex Excel reports to support data analysis.
Support company audits as needed and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Maintain current and required documentation for policy, procedures, controls, and plans.
Essential Skills
Workers' compensation and compensation program experience.
Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, data models, v-lookup, and formulas.
Minimum of seven years of compensation experience with at least two years in compensation program design.
Comprehensive understanding of compensation best practices, audit, and regulatory environments.
Strong math skills and understanding of statistics and regression analysis.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, or related field.
Experience in a multi-national corporation or consultancy firm, preferably in semiconductor, hi-tech, or manufacturing/engineering environment.
Experience with HCM, PeopleSoft, Radford, and WTW surveys is desirable.
Willingness to learn and utilize macros in Excel.
