Find your place in technology on #TeamAmex.The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Global Infrastructure’s (GI) Executive office to provide proactive management and insights of its Third-Party relationships. You will regularly engage with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that we can optimize GI’s Third-Party spend and leverage strategic vendor insights to place GI in a strong position for contract engagement and negotiations with various providers.You will report to the Global Infrastructure Chief of Staff director and be responsible for becoming a subject matter expert of GI’s third-party portfolio, processes, and collaboration points with other Lines of Business. You should bring new ideas to the table for future enhancements of our insight tooling. You must work well in a dynamic, complex environment and under deadline pressures.You will be required to have a strong understanding of Technology’s strategic initiatives and core GI Objectives, so that our third-party engagements remain strategic.Responsibilities:

Supporting build out of executive briefing content on third-party relationships for the GI Exec office;

Organizing a global organization around consistent third-party engagement practices and reporting;

Partnering with GI’s Product Services team to deliver a dynamic software inventory solution;

Understanding the commercial insights of each GI Product tower and drawing actionable cross-product linkages for improved central governance and oversight;

Leveraging key insights to identify opportunities for optimized third party spend within the GI portfolio;

Engaging with third parties to better understand alliances or subsequently disconnects between the companies’ strategic initiatives;

Interacting with internal customers to identify needs and collaborative opportunities and information sharing;

Workshopping effectively with various stakeholders to continuously redefine priorities;

Creating and adhering to contractual roadmaps;

Partnering closely with the various GI Teams, Vendor Management and Procurement teams on strategic approach for contract negotiations;

Creating accountability in the organization’s management of third-parties;

Streamlining vendor processes and measurable improvements in the efficiency of third-party engagements;

Operating as a conduit to other lines of business in the enterprise when it comes to knowledge sharing on GI-owned third party relationships;

Coordinating executive briefing sessions between executive leadership and key partners, which could range from half day to multi day sessions;

Supporting the GI Exec office with adhoc requests related to third party inquiries;

Supporting the onboarding of centralized statements of work within GI;

Minimum Qualifications

5 years’ experience in Program Management with proven track record in delivering against key strategies;

Robust background in vendor or contract management;

Can balance technical knowledge and business acumen;

Experience with innovative and collaborative approaches to problem solving;

Ability to work well under pressure and adapts to changing priorities;

Ability to work with a strategic and external perspective;

Ability to learn quickly and work proactively with minimal direction;

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners to drive collaboration and alignment;

High degree of organization, individual initiative and personal accountability;

Enthusiasm for learning how complex systems and processes work, and how to make them better;

Proven track record of finding efficiencies through effective third-party management;

Expert in Microsoft Office suite

BS/BA degree in related field

PMP certified

Also Preferred

Understanding of contractual negotiations

An established background in iterative development, Scaled Agile Framework and principles;
