THE POSITION:

We are looking for students who are interested in the field of construction for a paid summer internship. In addition to working in-office, our internship will include project site visits and team building exercises. The intern would be responsible for performing assigned administrative duties for the project and will have exposure to various aspects of construction, management, estimating, cost-analysis, VDC and bidding.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a construction manager intern, you’ll work closely with experienced professionals to gain practical skills and insights in the field of construction management. Your responsibilities may include:

Project Coordination: Collaborating with project coordinators and field engineers to ensure successful project delivery.

Assisting Senior Managers: Supporting project engineers and managers in various construction-related tasks.

Estimating Costs: Helping accurately to estimate project costs.

Quality Assurance: Overseeing operations to ensure projects meet quality standards.

Communication: Interacting with stakeholders, including clients, workers, and specialists, through both verbal and written communication.

Organization: Assisting with project documentation organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be in a college/university program related to electrical engineering, construction management or related field.

Highly- motivated person that is constantly looking to exceed.

Detail-oriented individual.

Strong writing and verbal skills.

Proficient computer skills.

Strong understanding of accounting.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
