A busy restaurant seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager/ Chef. Seeking someone who can do the functions below:
Direct and participate in preparation and execution of menu items.
Instruct Cooks and other workers in preparation of cooking and presentation of food
Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities
Order food and other supplies necessary for execution of menu.
Inspect all deliveries and supplies and ensure food safety and sanitation
Anticipate volume using prior years reference and work to meet percentage goals of food costs.
Interview and work with GM on all kitchen hires
Train and oversee kitchen staff on sanitation and safety procedures
Schedule staff and work to a budget number regarding labor costs.
Qualifications:
Prior kitchen management experience
Cooking experience similar in size and volume of our establishment
Able to see, walk, speak and climb stairs and lift a minimum of 50lbs
Have Yavapai Food Manager Certification or obtain it within 60 days of hire date.
