To be successful in this role, you should have 4 years of experience in a similar role, amd a graduate in surgical technology from an accredited school, and a strong understanding of sterilization techniques. You'll be instrumental in preparing the operating room for a variety of surgeries. As a Surgical Tech, your adaptability and enthusiasm to work with the team are key to taking patients from a diseased process to a healing process. Prepare the operating room for assigned surgical procedures with proper instrumentation and sterilization
Navigate the nuances of surgical procedures and surgeons you'll be supporting
Adapt to the needs of emergencies
Provide clean-up and turnover of the operating room to prepare for the next patient
