Description:The CMM/Metrology Engineering Technician ensure the goods that come out of their production lines meet specific standards. Metrologists can work on a wide variety of goods, such as parts and components for diffrent semiconductor tools such as ALD, CVD, PECVD, Epi and Etch A coordinate measuring machine (CMM) measures an object's geometry by using a probe to detect points on its surface. The machine then records the probe's position in a three-dimensional coordinate system (XYZ axes) relative to a reference point. CMMs can measure an object's length, width, and depth with high accuracy. Design and Fabrication: Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics to create jigs and fixtures for semiconductor restoration Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to view parts Apply knowledge of materials, machining processes, and manufacturing methods to optimize refabrication of semiconductor parts Perform inspections of semiconductor parts to ensure they meet the necessary quality standards and specifications. Collaborate with quality control personnel to address and resolve any issues or discrepancies. Maintain records and documentation The metrology engineering Technician will work on this machine, operate and program Metrology Technician Following Work Instructions or Schematics some Mechanical fabrication Chemical Cleaning within the wet bench Lab Assist in maintaining processing equipment in good working condition.Skills:semiconductor, technical documentation, Mechanical, cmm, metrology, Cleanroom, chemistryTop Skills Details:semiconductor,technical documentation,Mechanical,cmm,metrologyAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Mechanical Aptitude - someone who has 2+ years of experience working on cars, computers or machinery Coordinate measuring machine: 1 year (Preferred) Work Instructions - Proven ability to read and follow complex work instructions Semiconductor/cleanroom Experience -1 + years of experience working in semiconductor industry or cleanroom environment Must have 2 years of experience with CMM operation. Must have strong knowledge of GD&T.
