Bobcat of Juneau is looking to hire a full time (year round) Journeyman Heavy Equipment Mechanic with at least 5 years of experience. Must be able to read electrical and hydraulic schematics and have strong troubleshooting skills. Schedule will be a 4/3 schedule which will be either Monday thru Thursday or Tuesday thru Friday (10 hour days). There is also the option to work a 5 day schedule (8 hour days). Overtime will be optional. Base pay is $35-$55/hr DOE.
Minimum requirements:
-Strong computer skills
-Welding experience (stick and MIG)
-Have an extensive set of hand tools
-Strong attention to detail
-Have a positive attitude
-Be willing to perform other duties when Repair work is not available
-Have a valid drivers license (class A would be a plus)
-Ability to work with minimal supervision
-Be punctual
-Ability to read and write English
-Ability to take direction
-Ability to lift up to 50lbs
-Common sense is a huge plus
-Must put safety first
-Random drug/alcohol tests
-Background check
