Preschool Assistant

The Juneau Montessori School is hiring for a full-time preschool assistant! Hours are 8:45am-5pm M-F; the ideal candidate will have some flexibility to adjust their arrival and departure time occasionally. Duties include doing dishes, preparing materials, preparing snacks, helping clean and keep the environment tidy, and working with children during lunch, on the playground, in the nap room, and in the aftercare program. This person will spend time in all three of our classrooms and work with all of our children and staff. Each day will be different. The ideal candidate is calm and patient, enjoys working in a team, is highly reliable and consistent, and is eager to learn about early childhood development and the Montessori Method.
