Description
As a Service Advisor, you will meet with customers, determine vehicle's repair or maintenance needs, use extensive product knowledge to present the customer with this information as well as relay the recommended solutions by the service technicians for their vehicle. You will be the face of the service department; in charge and responsible for making customers feel comfortable and relaxed during and throughout the car servicing process, ensuring that each and every customer feels that their thoughts are acknowledged and heard, and most importantly that customers feel that they are in good hands and being treated with respect. We know that this is no simple task; the right person is needed for all this to happen!
Requirements and Preferences
Very strong preference for candidates with experience in automotive or a similar industry
Highly advanced communication skills, both oral and written
Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
Above average energy level
Preferred but not required: knowledge of vehicle mechanics
A desire for a long-term career with our growing organization
Personal and professional integrity
Passion to serve customers to the best of your abilities
Proficient computer skills; ability to comfortably use Microsoft Office products
Dealer Track experience is preferred
Valid Drivers License

General Responsibilities
Greet customers promptly and in a warm, friendly manner
Obtain customer and vehicle information
Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by customer to service technicians
Determine and recommend needed maintenance based on age, mileage, and history
Prepare complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
Establish follow-up time
Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day; updating customers frequently
Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
Explain all completed work and charges to customers
