Position & Description
This position is responsible for performing a variety of basic and technical tasks to help with shop operation, vehicle repairs, and tire services.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Shop Operation
· Move vehicles in and around shop
· Shop maintenance including cleaning floors, trash removal, etc.
· Shop organization including equipment, tools, supplies and parts
Assist with Vehicle Repairs
· Support our Service Manager with vehicle repairs
· Second set of hands for heavy line repairs
Tire Services
· Inspecting and assessing tire tread levels, wear patterns, valve quality, and overall health
· Perform tire rotations, balancing, and other maintenance tasks
· Installing new tires and wheels
· Repairing punctures and replacing faulty valves
· Studding tires for snow use
· Conducting inventory and maintaining equipment
Job Requirements
· Ability to follow verbal and written directions
· Desire to learn and develop technical abilities
· Valid driver's license
Physical Requirements
· Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
· Have full body mobility and be able to twist, turn, bend at the waist, and squat
· Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time with hands above the head
· Willing to work in varying weather and temperature conditions
Time Commitment
· Full Time - 40 hours per week plus overtime.
· Monday through Friday between 9am and 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm
